The magician shows a display-card with 6 different Royal Court cards on it, and asks the spectator to concentrate on any one of them.
The magician then covers this card with another card showing 6 back cards.
With a magical gesture the magician says he will remove the spectator's selected card from the display-card.
Sure enough, when the display-card is shown again, the spectator's card is missing.
