This gimmick has been marketed under a variety of other names too ... such as 'Anti Gravity' and ‘Anti Gravico’... in the past.
The standard effect though (using the gimmick concerned) is that a bottle (indeed almost ANY small, soft drink type bottle, even today) is filled with liquid, usually water:
The magician places palm of his hand over the top. Bottle is now inverted & the magician's hand taken away --- yet no liquid falls from the bottle!
Matches or cocktail sticks are pushed up into the bottle --- & rise happily through the liquid --- yet STILL no liquid falls from the bottle's mouth! Magician returns the bottle to the 'status quo'.
If anyone else immediately tries to emulate the stunt ... er! ... a 'little accident' occurs!
Ideal when worked ‘impromptu’ at a café, restaurant, pub etc. One transparent gimmick (with instructions) Perform this over and over for many years to come, hopefully! An old effect given a new lease of life for you.
